The Story:
TrailCaster began during a hike along Lake Chelan in Washington State. One of our designers found fishing line on the trail. He lashed a flexible twig to his trekking pole and to his surprise, was able cast.
Returning home, the design process began. Using 3D printing (and trial and error) TrailCaster took shape.
On a later backpacking trip in the Olympic National Park, the TrailCaster proved easy to pack, casted surprisingly well, landed loads of trout, and created lots of interest on the trail.
We knew we were onto something.
Our group has partnered with MIY Olympia to manufacture and deliver TrailCaster.
This is a new product from our small group. Design feedback welcome. Impressions welcome. Have a picture of your TrailCaster in the wild? Tag us on Instagram @trailcasterfishing.
Hope you enjoy!
